This second stop was a bit longer and really marked the starting point. Why wouldn\u2019t it \u2014 we were in Mexico, yes only 23 miles deep, but sitting at a bar that was known for it\u2019s Bloody Maria\u2019s and it is still morning, so what could be better.<\/p>\n The place has changed considerably from only a few years back when there was an aviary in the front dining area that you walked past to get to the bar in the back. The bar was huge, not the one in the photos above, but maybe seemed much larger as we were the only patrons, but again, it was still early morning. Maybe having an aviary in the same area where people are served food wasn\u2019t the best idea, I don\u2019t know why it\u2019s gone but the place has been decorated with rustic items and lots of plants. I rather like it, but have never eaten one menu item ever \u2014 just a couple Bloody Maria\u2019s before getting on the Carr. Transpeninsular\/M\u00e9xico 1 and heading further south.
